Vice President – Debbie Vance

Debbie currently serves as the Director for Gordon County E911. She has worked in public safety communications for 21 years, starting with Georgia State Patrol and then Gordon County E911 working her way up from front-line Communications Officer to Director. Prior to her career in Public Safety, she was employed by the American Red Cross as Director of Disaster Services and Service to Military. Ms. Vance holds certifications by the Georgia Peace Officers Standards Training Council (P.O.S.T) as a General Instructor. She is an active member in APCO and NENA having served on the board of directors for APCO. She is currently Secretary for the 911 Directors Association and Past President of Georgia APCO. She is a 2008 graduate of the Gordon County/Calhoun Leadership class and was elected to the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for the 2019-2022 term.
