Professional Biography
Myisha Callaway has dedicated the past 25 years to the field of emergency communications. She currently serves as Deputy Director for Rockdale County EMA/911, where she is passionate about public safety leadership, supporting first responders, and protecting the community.
Myisha is a Certified Instructor and holds her CMCP credential. Her professional development includes completion of the Georgia 9-1-1 Directors Academy, the APLI Leadership Program, and the Management Development Program through the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute.
In addition to her role with Rockdale County, Myisha serves as the Region 7 Director for Georgia NENA. She is committed to collaboration, professional development, and strengthening the emergency communications profession across Georgia.
As the Metro Representative on the Georgia 9-1-1 Directors Association Board, Myisha looks forward to contributing her experience and perspective while working alongside fellow 9-1-1 leaders to advance the Association's mission and strengthen Georgia's emergency communications community.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Myisha now lives in Henry County. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family and "framily"—friends who have become family. She loves to laugh and enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, sports, reading, music, and exploring new experiences.
